Architect Dam & Partners Amsterdam Developer Eurocommerce Projectontwikkeling Deventer Contractor Wessels Rijssen te Rijssen

Completed

The office development “Hermitage” consists of a lineair composition of three buildings (Carlton, Martinez and Majestic) opposite the Almere central train station. The building Carlton is 120 meter high and counts 6, 12 and 33 stories. De office façades are curtain wall panels with the dimensions 1,8m x 3,6m each panel. The panels have clear glass over 2,2m high, with a high performance coating on position 2 (LTA/ZTA = 51/27) and safety glass. At the spandrel area the curtain wall has glass with a full screen print and on the inside a coated sheet. Each panel has a bottom hung window. The corners of the curtain wall will be a glass corner (stepped glass) without aluminum profiles. The upper two levels and de front façade have no intermediated mullion or spandrel area. On the outside of de façade there will be aluminum fins installed in color red. The bottom rows of the façade panels have a red stone at the spandrel area. The elevator shafts exist from the same panels, however without an intermediated transom or mullion, without glass corners and without the fins. The ground floor façade is a stick-system which is connected/supported at multiple levels to the primary steel structure
