Ministry of Finance: renovation of existing Ministry. Scheldebouw received with this building the Benelux Aluminium in Renovation Award 2009. Several facades, consisting mainly of aluminium isolated and associated windows. Floor area with partly parapet and turned parts section. Outdoor Skin 1st to 4th floors between the existing precast elements. The fourth floor to roof is made with specially engineered aluminium bars with hardened roofglazing and at the roofsite with motorized glass plates. Common facades are all equiped with motorized awnings. Winter Garden conservatories / restaurant run as spider glass, walls and roof structure well. Atrium roof 42.5 x42, 5 m dome formation with separators of + / - 1800X1800MM.
